"The Oracles of Water" is an interactive and participatory site-specific performance that links climate change and the global water crisis with the mythology and worship of Apollo at Delphi.
Apostolia Papadamaki's stage direction and powerful choreography, enriched by the music of Trifon Koutsourelis, elevate ancient wisdom into a resonant modern ritual, inspiring introspection and reverence for the natural world.
There will be two performances. The first is on July 31, 2023, and the second is on August 1, 2023. Each performance consists of two parts: Part A takes place at the Temple of Athena Pronaia from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at sunrise, and Part B from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Temple of Apollo. Attendance is mandatory for both parts.
